Employers are legally required by The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 to provide information, instruction and training to employees about fire precautions in the workplace.
The Fire Marshal / Fire Warden Course From Brookside Fire Service
The course includes all the information included in the enhanced course but also includes additional information specific to clients nominated fire wardens. The course is available for up to 15 people per session and again concludes with a hands on practical use of fire extinguishers (not on live fire) and a brief questionnaire. Each delegate receives a certificate and the course takes approximately 2-2 ½ hours.
The course is designed for staff who have been given a responsibility for assisting with the evacuation of their immediate working environment in the event of an emergency.
Why you need a Fire Marshal / Fire Warden Course
Fires impact businesses of all sizes across Britain every year, causing extensive property damage, injuring employees through smoke inhalation and burns, and, in the worst cases, resulting in loss of life. As a designated fire warden, your role is crucial in maintaining fire safety within the workplace.
Anyone taking on the duty of fire warden can benefit from this training; no prior experience is necessary. It offers a thorough overview of workplace fire safety, covering everything from the origins of fires to risk assessments, fire prevention techniques, and above all, the primary duties of a fire warden. You will acquire the necessary skills to help prevent fires, guarantee safe evacuations in case of an emergency, and protect your workplace from the potentially disastrous effects of fire by finishing this program.
